Sakaki winced as Marty spoke, his awkward stuttering only prolonging the feeling of dread that was continuing to course through her. It wasn’t like she could do any better, that much was true, but the schoolgirl thought that her companion had been in these types of situations many times before! Of course, that was just what she thought… she was obviously wrong.
Despite herself however, Sakaki raised an eyebrow at the other teen’s choice of fake names. She leaned away from the phone and looked at Marty with a look on her face that just said ‘What the hell?’.
“Calvin Klein…?” Mouthing the words, Sakaki gave the boy an incredulous look before shaking her head and laughing a little. Of course, there was no point in dwelling on mediocre matters when there was something else bigger at stake.
The something being the entire human race: past, present, and future.
Sakaki rubbed her forehead in thought and sighed, jutting out her bottom lip slightly. Now that they had managed to schedule and appointment with… whoever the hell they would be talking to, the raven haired girl wondered what they were going to say, or how they were going to say it, even.
“So, Calvin…” She joked, smiling slightly as if that would lighten themood, “What’s our next plan of action now that that’s sorted…?”
Only one thing to do.
-Marty proceeded to return Sakaki’s cellphone and revved up the engine of the DeLorean. He turned on the time circuits for good measure and checked it very briefly. Luckily, the “last time departed” slot wasn’t on the fritz, so the ripple effect hasn’t caught up to them yet.-
Go to City Hall, figure out what the hell’s going on, and go back in time to stop all of this from happening.
Well, ya know…coupled with the fact that we don’t get our asses kicked.
-He gave a nervous smile and proceeded to back up onto the elevator that brought them there in the first place. As they descended, Marty reflected on how they were going to go about this without too much weight on them. Then again, as Sakaki has reiterated, the teen himself went through many dangerous situations like these unprepared, so it should hopefully be in his good karma to get out of this alive. Finally reaching their designated floor, Marty drove the DeLorean through the tunnel and outside the parking garage.-
Alrighty then. You know what Tokyo City Hall looks like? Through my experience of time traveling, I’m pretty sure a famous landmark like that shouldn’t have changed…
